The four-station starter exam

The reviewed starter run uses a learner car at the driving-test lot. The instruction at the top of the screen and the station counter identify the current objective. Complete the objectives in order and wait for each new instruction.

The October 29 introduction lists the Class D test as free. Check the current screen before confirming any paid action.

1. Weave through the cones

Enter the lane marked 1 CONES and alternate around the cones without touching them. The counter begins at 0/5 in the recording. Keep your steering small and your approach slow enough to line up for the next gap; rushing the entrance makes the first turn harder.

Use the station counter and the instructor prompt to track the cone exercise.

2. Drive around both islands

At station 2, follow the figure-eight path around both cone islands. Going around a single island does not follow the full instruction. The marked arrows show the crossing and the direction around each half.

Follow both halves of the figure eight and allow room for the crossing.

3. Stop inside the STOP box

The next prompt asks you to stop inside the STOP box. Look for the marked yellow box, align the car before entering, and brake while the car is inside it. Continue when the instructor advances to station 4.

Read the new objective as soon as the figure-eight station finishes.

4. Park in the glowing bay

The final target is the glowing bay between parked vehicles. Approach it slowly and straighten the car before entering. In the reviewed run, a collision triggers a request to re-park, with the instructor explaining that the cones no longer count. Correct the position and try the bay again.

A clear pass message and the Class D panel confirm the starter exam is complete.

Once Class D is awarded, move to the Classics row to inspect your first car. A parking attempt alone is insufficient if the screen still shows the unfinished station.
